What’s On this Spring

Spring has officially arrived in Toowoomba, and Clifford Gardens is celebrating the warmer weather with a packed calendar of free family events, school holiday workshops and fresh seasonal style.

Kick off the season on Friday, 18 September with our spectacular Floral Friday displays to celebrate the start of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. The centre will be transformed with vibrant floral displays, and Clifford the Bee will be buzzing around to say hello and snap photos with the kids.

To keep the little ones entertained, our free Clifford Gardens in Bloom workshops are running in Centre Court (outside Big W) from 19 September to 4 October. Kids can colour in flowers and busy bees to add to our collaborative community wall. No bookings are required – simply join our interactive workshops from Wednesday to Sunday (10:30am to 1:30pm) or enjoy self-guided craft activities on Mondays and Tuesdays.

You can also learn all about the fascinating world of bee-keeping with free educational talks hosted by Queensland Museum Cobb+Co. Head outside Shingle Inn at 11am on select Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays (21, 22, 25, 28, 29 September and 2 October) to discover how these busy insects help our environment.

Between the activities, make sure to explore our top spring retail picks!
